Just as the day the first batch was made in our farm house kitchen in the summer of 2007, all of our soap bars are still made, cut and labelled by hand.
The main ingredient in sedbergh soap is glycerine, derived from coconut oil and ethically grown palm oil. Lots of the herbs used in our soaps are still grown on our farm

As I am married to a farmer I thought that I would make a soap, which would definately get his hands clean - and this one does.
It has a generous amount of oats and oatmeal as both are abrasive and also softens the skin. The poppy seeds are a natural exfoliator and the addition of ground pumice stone gets rid of the stubbon dirt in the creases of the palms.
If you like the idea but not the name then look at our 'Working Hands' soap instead.

A stylish glass jar. 50ml of 100% natural and 95% organic. Can be used by everybody and specially suited for truly sensitive skin.
Completely Un-scented, for two reasons:
1) Very sensitive skin and Eczema (like mine) is best cared for with unscented cream free from herbal extracts and essential oils.
2) If you like to wear perfume or after shave then the last thing you need is a face cream with a scent, which is incompatible with what you really want to smell of.
