We collect information about you for 3 reasons: firstly to process your online orders/enquiries, secondly to send out customer-only offers once a year (this is usually a voucher code in the lead up to Christmas) if you have ordered from us onling within the last 13 months. If you have not ordered from us for 13 months, we will not send you any offers or voucher codes, and thirdly to provide you with the best possible service.
We only have the information you give us when you either place an order or contact us via our contact page or via email. Therefore the type of information we collect about you includes:
- your name
- your address
- phone number
- email address
- delivery address (This may be someone else's data when you order a gift for someone else)
Online payments are procerssed by PayPal using their secure services and are independant from our website and our business. We do not pass on any data other than those essential to enable you to pay for your order. If you are not happy for payments to be processed by PayPal you can choose to pay by other means as listed in our Terms & Conditions - your options include BACS (bank transfer) or posting a cheque to us.
You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us on email@example.com . If you inform us of any inaccuracies we will delete or correct them promptly.
We never have and we never will share or sell your information to any other third party for their marketing purposes, either in the EEA (European Economic Area) or outside this area.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site or order processing. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening, although this may prevent online purchasing from being available to you. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings. We use anonymous behavioral data to help us understand if we need to make changes to our website - e.g. to make navigation easier.
