Customer Satisfaction
At Sedbergh Soap Company nothing is more important to us than customer satisfaction because we grow mainly by word-of-mouth. We like to listen to our customers whether they come and meet us at the markets or whether they found us on the internet. So, if you have any questions, suggestions or comments we would love to hear from you. Please email us or you can telephone us on 015396 20967 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Emails are usually still checked even after 5pm and over the weekend and you are therefore more likely to receve a reply quickly, if you drop us a line.

Making A Purchase
We have tried to make our online shop as easy to use as possible with large photos of our products and we hope you will find that making a purchase could not be easier. To browse our full range of skin care products and gift ideas simply click on one of the categories in the left hand margin. When you have found something you would like to buy, click 'Add to Basin'. When you are ready to go to the check out and pay just click on 'Check out' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to process the order.

We accept payment via PayPal as well as the most popular credit and debit card. If you are shopping from Europe, North America or any anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

Offline payment option and BACS payments
If you don't like to purchase online and prefer the more traditional ways of doing business you are also welcome to send us your order together with a cheque made out to SEDBERGH SOAP COMPANY - and we will treat your order in the same way as our online orders. Remember to add the £4.95 for postage & packaging and don't forget to include your delivery address and a telephone number in case we need to contact you. Then simply send your order and cheque to us: Sedbergh Soap Company, Buck Bank Farm, Sedbergh, Cumbria, LA10 5LL. 

If you prefer we can also accept BACS payments but we need the details of your order in advance to make sure we match your order to your order so we can despatch it quickly. Please email us with your order and we will reply with our BACS details. 

Who are you dealing with?
Sedbergh Soap Company is owned by our working sheep & cattle farm - A J PRATT. When you pay online the engine behind the scenes is the very secure PayPal payment site. Your receipt and your card statement will show that you have paid 'PayPal - A J PRATT'. This is not an error so don't be alarmed.

Postage & Packing
We charge Postage & Packing at £4.95 per order for UK Mainland orders only. Postage will be by Royal Mail or courier. For Postage & Packing (airmail) for orders outside the UK, please get in touch and we will find the most cost effective option for you. - We are not in the business of making money on postage - we concentrate on soap and leave the post and delivery companies to do the rest.

We aim to despatch your order within 3 working days of receiving it, and if possible the same day. But on occasion we may hit a very busy time so please allow up to 5 working days for despatch. If your order is urgent or for a specific occassion please add this as a comment during ordering and we will do our best to accommodate.

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. For your safety Sedbergh Soap Company does not receive nor hold any customer credit card details and they are not held in clear text on any web site.
