OUR LONG AWAITED BABY & TODDLER RANGE

After months of listening to customer feedback and countless requests we have now launched a brand new range of 100% natural bath products for Babies & Toddlers.

If they are all natural, could we not just use the existing Sedbergh Soap products?
All of our products ARE 100% natural so suitable for both children and adults. But babies and small toddlers' skin is very delicate so some but not all of the scents would be suitable. Babies' skin is 10 times thinner than adult skin and much more porous - which essentially means that we need to be extra careful about what we expose them to, to avoid any nasty stuff entering their bloodstream through the skin.

Sedbergh Soap's new range for Baby & Toddler is based on the same good ingredients as the main range but the type and amount of essential oil used is very mild and gives only a 'hint' of a scent. Afterall, you want baby to smell of clean baby - nothing else.

You test all products on your own skin but don't have baby skin - how can we be sure?
True, but we do have a little 3 year old girl and new baby born in February 2009. As a mother who has lived with the anguish of severe eczema since birth - I have a very vested interest in making sure that my own children are only exposed to the best possible bath products. NO chemicals, NO harmful additives, NO perfume.....just good stuff!

We have in fact used the Baby & Toddler products for our own daughter for quite some time.....we just didn't have the labels and packaging ready to make them available for sale.
